Amit Dagim (1993) is a composer, sound artist, and mastering engineer. Working with modular synthesis, feedback systems, and digital tools, he creates off-kilter rhythms, acoustic-like creature voices, virtual instruments, and organismic environments. His practice explores timbre and signal processing, chaotic behaviors, and pseudo-acoustic qualities in synthetic sound, as well as the sonic possibilities of the electric guitar through a range of techniques and effects processing. His record Super Satin Italian Network (Sadan Records, 2022) combines odd time signatures, acoustically inspired digital instruments, and expressive melody and harmony. His latest album, Growth of the Soil (EVEL Records, 2025), explores pseudo-acoustic synthesis in electronic music in greater depth.
Dagim has performed at festivals including Bučení (Czech Republic) and Romaeuropa (Rome), and at venues in Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden. In 2025, he was one of the winners of raster’s Soundtrack Europe open call, for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz. He graduated from the Master’s research program at the Institute of Sonology, Royal Conservatoire, The Hague. He completed a three-month mastering internship at Urbiks Music studio in Funkhaus Berlin and a residency at EMS Stockholm, where he continued his research and composition on the studio’s Serge and Buchla modular systems. He has released music on Raash Records, Sadan Records, Tokinogake, and EVEL Records. In 2022, he founded saga.domaine, a label for experimental electronic music.
